Daily Poem May 13 MAN IS THE CHALLEGE As the day was ending at Monticello, A thought kept gnawing at my mind. The challenges faced by the Corps of Discovery Were the unknown, the weather, some animals and man. As we begin a journey of kind, Our challenges will be different, Instead of those created by nature, Ours are created by man! Too narrow roads, and crazy drivers, And pot holes and nails and glass Will make us want to sign up now For a tour with Corps of Discovery! Ron
