June 27, 2003 ARE THEY REALLY OUT THERE? We are riding along enjoying the bike, And looking all about us. We know there are mountains some place in this state, But they are carefully hidden. On our second day in this beautiful state, An apparition appears before us. Off to the West in blue-gray wonder, Appear to be some formations. We study them carefully, and notice their shape - We get excited, and wonder if - Are they really mountains that we will see, Or are they a figment of tired brains! Ron
