June 10, 2003 A SIGHT We were coming out of the hills at a very fast pace, Enjoying the smooth and curving road. A look to the left brought joy and thrills We were looking at civilization. The downtown highrises of the city of Omaha Pierced the afternoon sky. The beauty of the architecture and wonder of the river Brought meaning to the day. You work so hard to make some way, But often the rewards are slim. But when you see such a sight as this, The rewards are the ride itself. Ron
