All people daydream in one form or another,
And many lust aggressively for what feels good.
Some people make their daydreams a little more complete,
But few have the competence to make them into plans.
The lucky people in this world are those who dream and plan,
Prepare themselves, work their plan and enjoy the fruits of labor.
Those are the people who lead those lives -
That make them want to rise and shine,
And dream and plan and do some more.
It may be a ride across this country,
It might be a new approach to life.
I could be a new career,
Or it might be a family.
Whatever the dream or what the desire,
It is possible, that is sure.
But only if the dreams become goals,
And a plan is there to work.
