Although our morning started at the bike shop, we went to Dr. David Neil's office to have my orthodontic work done. Shauna, one of the assistants, took off my broken bottom chain and replaced it as well as the upper chain.

Betty had answered my call for help last Friday. It was nice to meet her in person. Both she and Shauna were great.

Our next stop was the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center. After touring the exhibits, we tried on some period clothing. Ron chose this jacket.

I chose the jacket used when Lewis and Clark went to see the Indian Chiefs.

Wallking past the planted area at the Interpretive Center, you can see the native prairie grasses that the National Forest Service has planted.

This is a view of the Missouri River looking North from behind the Interpretive Center.

After eating at Portofino's restaurant downtown (the gnocchi and the pasta were excellent), we walked across the street to see this statue of "Kid Russell".

Most of the stores on Central Ave., Great Falls' main street downtown were closed. Montanoceratops was out and about in bronze. This statue is a life size recreation of this herbivore. Fossils of it were first found in 1947 in North Central Montana
