Today was a rest day at the Elman's. We had good conversation, good food, lots of fun with the granddaughters and lots of good rest. We even had a nap or two. It was a nice time, and puts us in a good spot to continue our jouney. Ron's knee is much better and LaValle is feeling ready to go. Tomorrow we start our two-day trip to Council Bluffs. While we are there, Bill Anderson will arrive to visit LaValle, Ron will spend time with his sister, Jane, and her family and the bike will go through a complete checkup. It is time to get back in the saddle.

Note from LaValle...
Rest days are for rest, but they are also for doing other back home activities. A trip to Costco may not seem like rest or fun, but if it's done on a Sunday morning in Kansas it can be. Costco was empty with only one customer in line. That's one customer total in all the lines. Everyone else was still at church! Ron's daughter, Betsy, made us home-cooked meals while we were here. Her husband, Eric drove us from Marshall and then back to the Airport. Thank you both so very much for taking such good care of us.
